CRU Cannabis’s Green Goddess

The Product

Leafly.com describes Green Goddess as:

Green Goddess is an indica-dominant hybrid that descends from Skunk #1 and Sweet Leaf Indica. With an aroma that blends notes of rose with ruby red grapefruit, this hybrid offers a divine flavor profile that brings justice to her name. Crystal-coated emerald buds are wrapped with vibrant amber hairs in a display as enticing as Green Goddess’ fragrance. Blissful euphoria rushes through the mind, bringing with it a surge of focus and intrigue while eradicating life’s stressors.

The High

If you look at the Effects listed above, this is a happy strain, and that is definitely true. This strain had me giggling and telling jokes. I didn’t take too much seriously after smoking some of this. It was like that moment in the dentist’s chair when the nitrous kicks in, and the most ordinary object is suddenly the funniest thing you’ve seen in your life. In these serious times, we all need a good laugh.

What raises my eyebrow is the 34% of people who said they felt focused. I was definitely in the 66% that did not. In fact, my wife had to snap me back to reality a couple times. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention,” was said more than once. For me, I could’ve put on some music, probably Pink Floyd, and just spaced out. If by “focused,” it means that I would feel every note in my soul, then yes, I can see that. As far as staying focused for work, that wasn’t happening for me.

The Verdict

I really liked this strain. While it seems like it has an average potency with around 20% THC, a little still goes a long way. I was feeling pretty good after smoking 0.5g. I wonder just how much a whole gram would’ve hit me (but not enough to actually smoke one). The nugs were a good size, very stinky, and pretty sticky, too.

I highly recommend trying this one out first before figuring out when it works best for you. If you’re one of those lucky 34% who feel focused, then this would be a great daytime strain. If you’re more like me, I would recommend trying this at night first, or at least a day off when you have a couple hours to spare. Either way, this is definitely a strain you need to try first before you do anything. Regardless, it’s still a strain I highly recommend. This strain pairs nicely with a Monty Python or Mel Brooks movie.
