The High
If you’ve read my past reviews, you know I prefer indica-leaning strains. This is no different, leaning toward the calming effects of an indica but not going too far.
This strain was perfect for me to start my day. I started with a giggly high to put me in a great mood. Once the giggles subsided, I was left with a relaxed sense of well-being and some great motivation to get stuff done. It didn’t leave me bouncing off the walls like a ping-pong ball in a wind tunnel, but it didn’t make me want to go to sleep, either.
The Verdict
I’ve been a fan of SD Cannabis’s products for a couple years now. They’ve never disappointed me, and their Fire OG is no exception. Their attention to quality is clear. They know what it takes to make an exceptional cannabis product, and they consistently go above and beyond. SD Cannabis’s Fire OG was exactly what I expected: “Top Shelf Shit.”
Bottom line – If you’re like me and struggle with anxiety, depression, and/or PTSD, I highly recommend this strain. I felt what I assume “normal” is like for a few hours. It felt good for all the negative thoughts and impulses to be quieted for just a little while. Fire OG granted me a welcome respite. This would be a strain I took with me to Comic-Con, a party, or just hanging out with some friends. I think it would be perfect for hitting a comedy club.
